About Workshops
Each year hundreds of educators attend MLC workshops for practical teaching strategies and insights into how children learn. Whether it focuses on a broad topic or a specific set of materials, an MLC workshop offers a rich learning experience.
Our workshop leaders not only present powerful methods for teaching mathematics, they also model these strategies in their instruction. Workshop leaders are experienced educators who have used the programs and methods in their own classrooms.
We offer open enrollment workshops as well as contract workshops that can be tailored to the specific needs of your school or district. Workshops usually last from 10 to 30 hours and often include the option of college credit. Occasionally we offer seminars or institutes that allow for extended reflection and discussion over a concentrated period of time.
For information or to schedule a workshop, we invite you to contact Kathie Bunn at kathieb@mathlearningcenter.org or 800-575-8130.
