Free Geoboard App from MLC

MLC is pleased to announce the release of our Geoboard App, available at no charge from the iApps Store in iTunes and as a free web application.

"This is the second application in what will eventually be a full series of virtual manipulatives, all of which will retain the open-ended nature of their physical counterparts." said Dan Raguse, Executive Director.

Elem Math Specialist Scholarship

The Math Learning Center has collaborated with the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE) to establish a scholarship fund for elementary math specialists. 

"There is a growing consensus regarding the importance of math specialist at the elementary level" said Rick Ludeman, MLC President.  "We were inspired to create this scholarship fund by a column on the topic written by NCTM President J. Michael Shaughnessy" he added.
