MLC is pleased to announce the continuation of our Number Corner and Math and the Mind's Eye donation programs.

"Over the years we have benefited tremedously from teachers talking to their colleagues about our offerings.  Our donation programs are one small way that we can give back to the education community while also introducing more educators to our materials." said Rick Ludeman, President.

Free Number Rack App from MLC

MLC is pleased to announce the release of the Number Rack App available at no charge from the iApps Store in iTunes and as a free Web application.

"This is the first in a series of free applications we plan to develop as we continue to integrate more technology into our offerings." said Dan Raguse, Executive Director.

Mind's Eye Teacher Leader

Math and the Mind’s Eye has helped shape the career of Suzanne Hossler, a middle school mathematics teacher for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Catalog Moves Online

MME Donations 2011

Congratulations to the recipients of the Math and the Mind's Eye donation program.  Twenty-one institutions from fifteen states recevied more than 2,800 free MME units.

Online Course Registration Open

MLC offers an online Bridges course during the winter, as well as contract workshops that can be tailored to the specific needs of your school or district. The eight-week online Bridges course begins in January and offers support for those currently implementing Bridges in Mathematics. Course information and the registration form are now available on our Workshop Schedule page.

New Director of Professional Dev

Pia Hansen joined MLC this month as Director of Professional Development. Pia brings a wealth of experience as a classroom teacher, workshop leader, and educational consultant. She is the co-author of Bridges in Mathematics Grade 3 and author of Mathematics Coaching Handbook: Working with Teachers to Improve Instruction. Pia will assume responsibility for professional development and support from Frazer Boergadine, VP of Programs who will be retiring September 30.
